The owners of Right Starts OT started out as C3 Website Review & Roadmap clients. During our review session, Jaime and Brian felt ready to move forward with a whole brand and website redesign to better align with the direction they wanted to take their family occupational therapy practice.

Results

Brand Identity to Attract the Holistic Family

Right Starts Occupational Therapy’s old logo and website was created to conform to the traditional occupational therapy “look” and was geared towards pediatrics. That branding worked when they first opened their clinic but they had already outgrown it. 

They needed branding that matched their philosophy and who they were as therapists. We also needed to create a brand that attracted families who were open to holistic modalities, as well as the traditional ones.   

Their new logo uses two fonts balance between being authoritative/trustworthy and modern/approachable. The image of a growing sprout represents Right Starts patients’ growth by addressing the root cause. The sprout also plays into the brand image of offering holistic modalities along with traditional approaches.

Website Design for a better work-life balance

Besides updating the branding on the website, the goal of the website redesign was to streamline some of the administration tasks. As a family-run practice, the owners wanted to find a better work-life balance. 

Leads generated from the contact form on the website would cause multiple back and forth phone calls in order to schedule a consultation. They were also spending a lot of time answering texts and questions from clients asking for recommendations and referrals. 

In their new website, we created a HIPAA-compliant contact form that included questions that helped “weed out” potential clients that would not be a good fit. Namely, people who did not realize that they are a private pay clinic. We also included questions about availability so there would be less chance of playing phone tag with each other. 

We also created a private Client Portal page that was password protected. This page included resources that Jaime and Brian would frequently refer their clients to but it took extra time to keep looking up contact information for them. Using the Client Portal page, they could just send the page URL and password to them and the client could easily find the valuable information themselves.

After the launch of their website, Right Starts OT also signed up for our Website Care Plan to keep their website updated and monitored. 

Outcome

It feels SO good to have solid branding and a website that finally reflects who we are and exactly what we bring to the world through our work! The general consensus from our people has been "This is SO you!!!".... and I think that says a lot because Brian and I are two very different people and therapists but this branding is like an umbrella that covers us both! Its great!
