Overview

The initial goal of this project was to improve APEX’s SEO so that their website ranked higher in the search results. As time went on, we eventually redesigned their website on a different platform and concentrated our SEO efforts to their newly opened 2nd location in Michigan.

  • More intuitive navigation for ease of use

Results

Website Redesign

The old APEX Physical Therapy Clinic’s website was created using Go Daddy’s website builder. It looked great but they had already outgrown the capabilities of that platform. We needed to be able to track their conversions more closely and change the URL structure. Go Daddy didn’t offer enough control over those aspects. 

That’s when we decided to make the switch to WordPress. The new website featured many of the great videos APEX already created that explained the different between APEX and their competitors. The homepage also displayed previews of their services, testimonials, and blog posts instead of hiding these sections under the main menu. This helped keep visitors on their website longer.

Custom Icons

The old APEX Physical Therapy website was text heavy so we needed to break it up with some more images and graphics. Finding stock photos of some of the services they offered was possible, but when we displayed them on the homepage, they didn’t look cohesive. It added to the clutter instead of helping visitors quickly find what they were looking for. 

Instead of going the photo route, I opted to design some custom icons instead. These icons were bold like their brand image and visitors could quickly find the icon that represented services like dry needling, kinesiotaping, and concussion management. 

Search Engine Optimization

After working together for over two years, APEX Physical Therapy outgrew the services our studio could offer. That is one of the greatest outcomes I could hope for! 

Compared to the old website, the new website is getting 235% more visitors each quarter. After our SEO efforts, the APEX website is showing up on 222% more Google search results and getting 54% more clicks on those search listings!
